Better buy special staples
This was not my favorite buy. I can't use standard staples and the stapler is easy to flip open when trying to staple. If I hadn't thrown away the package I would return it.

Good Stapler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a nice stapler. It does go through 45 pages as advertised, I find it kind of hard to squeeze it with the bigger amount of paper but that’s to be expected. I like that it came with the extra staples in two sizes.

Very handy!

Love the plier design!

NOT THIS ONE
It takes BOSTITCH B8 staples for starters but the real kick is that only 60% of a row of staples fit. The remaining 40% either goes back in the box or throw them in the trash along with the stapler.

Stapler Specifications Incorrect
I ordered this because it said that I could use 1/4" NORMAL staples OR the Bostitch brand. I just received it and you can NOT in fact use normal staples.

Like the stapler but needs special staples
I do not mind getting special staples however why not attach it to the stapler along with the other items selected to "buy with this product" instead of scissors and an organizer.

I received the staples for my Bostitch B8 Xtreme Duty Plier Stapler. I needed the 45 sheet capacity because I staple that many pages from Merrill Lynch statements.
It works great. No bent staples. All 41 pages are solidly stapled. Easy to handle. Light in weight. Not clunky.

You would think a company called staples would know which staples to ship with a stapler stapler itself is very good buy the 3/8ths staples
