Excellent
I love these labels. They absolutely cover up markings, other labels, sharpies. I always reuse my folders and until now they have looked messy. Now they are neat and professional. Thank you so much!

Aweful !! These labels do NOT stick !!
These file folder labels are terrible. Please bring back PERMANENT labels. Anything that says "removable" or "true block" will NOT stick to the folders. ALL our labels have to be taped on in order for them to stay. VERY disappointed and extremely FRUSTRATING !! I've looked everywhere and cannot locate PERMANENT labels.

label sheets jam in printer, other problems.
The Avery 5966 File Folder Labels (1500 count) are printed on more sturdy backing than the usual Avery 5266 Labels that they resemble. They consistently jammed in my printer and were virtually unusable. When they did print, the printing on the form was one to one-and-a half lines off from how it looked on the computer template, rendering the label useless. I think buyng...

Avery Yellow File Folder Labels
Not many places sell just a box of yellow file folder labels, even online. I needed a large box of these labels, and this is precisely what I got.

File Labels
These labels are great! I have used these for 20 years. BUT I wish that Avery would make more colors. I have to rotate the same colors every 5 years or so. Need more colors besides red, yellow, blue, orange, green, white.
Thanks!

I wish the color was on the top!
The color is 1/8" below the top of the label, which takes up a lot of otherwise usable/printable white space on labels that are only 2/3" to begin with. Frankly, I'm also disappointed in the Avery template (download) designed for this label: the Avery grid measurements cut off 3/8" above the bottom of the label, using up even more white space. As the wasted space above ...

Labels 5966
I used to use this type of label for my filing needs, but found the labels with the color strip on the side instead of the top are much more suited to my color coding needs. Also, these ones need a label cover on it to ensure they don't fall off my files, and the labels I use now are larger which allows for the info I put on labels to be shown properly at a decent text ...

I would buy again.
Just what I needed for labeling folders and it also works for labeling anything you want. It sticks to anything.

Labels
Labels are fine yet overpriced with no satisfactory alternative for laser printing. A simple perforation down the center of the sheet would improve this product's value.

not as promised
these are a nice item. but they say they are permanent but they do come off over time. so if are using these for archival storage you will see they just fall off after a few years. other than thatthey work well.

Are best upside down
They are kind of blinding right side up, but are very convenient for color coding when printed upside down. I like the grey background that doesn't allow any previous labels to show through- thus you can recycle your folders.

Organizing by Color
I use this label (and a few other colors to organize the areas of my office. Green is for general files, yellow for one committee's files, and blue for the board files. When I'm looking for a particular folder, I know exactly which color label I'm looking for and I won't mis-file it in the wrong drawer. I can easily print up a batch of labels by date or number through t...
