Good tape measure
I got this to replace my old Stanley tape measure that kept disappearing on me. It is light weight, very easy to read numbers, and has a great stand out. I was able to get 10' out of it before I decided I would quit playing with it and get to work. First thing I used it on was a metal rack that I had to cut in half. Noticeable drop in product quality
I'm a drywall hanger I've been a loyal Stanley FatMax customer for years the tape usually last me anywhere from 3 to 6 months and I buy another one the last one I bought from Home Depot was noticeably worse in quality the blade was thinner and not a stiff it's a lot harder to take measurements please go back to making them the way you did before

This is the best tape. It is terribly unfortunate that it looks like they discontinued the metric/imperial style tape.

Good daily tape measure
Great little tape measure I keep in my service tool bag for quick measurements. It is able to extend pretty far for its size. It is build well with quality material definitely would recommend to anyone who need a daily carry tape measure.

Pleasantly Surprised
I wasn't sure about the FatMax tapes, as they seemed a bit too wide for my taste. But the more I use it, the more I like it. The extended reach it offers has been particularly helpful on countless occasions already, and while I've traditionally worked with 25' tapes, the 16' length has been more than adequate for regular use around the shop and at home.

Perfect
The Fatmax is the only tape measurer I will use on jobs. It’s numbers are nice and large and easy to read, and the button to hold it at a certain length never gives. I can stretch it out to its full 16 feet and there is no bend in the tape. This is the only tape measure that I believe professionals should use.

Made well & works good.
This is a really great tape measure to keep in your toolbox. I have been doing a lot of furniture building and this tape rule has been a great asset. Tough and pocket sized
FATMAX is where it's at, tough enough to stand up to teenagers. I especially like the 16' tape because even though its a fatmax, it fits in my pocket for trips to the lumber yard. One thing I'd like to see different is due to my eyesight, but maybe a different color for the numbers of a greater contrast. When I have my glasses on it is no problem. Overall I love Stanley...

very handy and good Tape measure
this tape is good, the width of the tape makes it strong and lettering is well defined and easy to see. this 16' tape measure is a good size for projects around the house. It was also easy enough for my son to use on his project.

Easily readable and durable
I have went to this tape measure in my toolbox as the “go to” tape measure due to the large numbers that make it better for my eyes. The other tape measures I have you have to squint to see the numbers, this one is readable and the top is going to last longer from the extra protection the first few inches.

Rigid quality!!
I love to use Stanley measure tape it is very handy and have clear measuring numbers. Another great Stanley product!
This is a great quality item just like all of the Stanley products I have ever had. The tape pulls out very easy, it's very easy to lock, the 14' reach is very good. Great Tape Measure
I love the Stanley Fat Max tape measure. I recently used it while remodeling a bathroom. It is able to measure distances while in the air due to it's Fat Max solid construction. I would recommend it to everyone. It is an 11 on my scale of 1-10.

Nice size and very durable
I really like stanley tool because they are very durable and dependable. I like to keep a smaller one around the house for quick measurements and i am very impressed with how well they hold up, i have never had one break even when my kids got ahold of it and pulled the taoe all the way out, it did not break. I definitely recommend to anyone, great value.

the little tape that could
This 16 foot tape feels great in my hands. It has a wide blade with a 10 foot stand off. It just as robust as its 25 and 35 foot siblings just in a shorter smaller package. The tape hook and extra protection on the end of the blade are top notch.

Fatmax tape measure
I just used my new tape measure today at work and it works great and easy to use . The bold numbers make it very easy to read and the wider blade bends way less than smaller blade tape measures .i would highly recommend this to pros and diy thank you

handy helper
this thing is awesome! it is very sturdy. it is not too big and bulky like some others. the numbers are easy to read. it has come in handy several times around the house in the last couple of weeks. i used it to measure windows for curtains and to measure landscaping fabric (i'm kind of ocd)

Small and Sturdy
I work in a furniture shop and always gravitate to the shorter tapes, but they are always so flimsy, now I have the FATMAX and it is great. A small and sturdy tape that holds up to everyday use, fits well in your hand, and is easy to read, this tape is a great fit in my shop.

Width has its pros and cons
This tape measure is pretty nice. The dimensions seem to be right on par with actual lengths. The extra width makes it easier to read. I am used to my tapes being one inch in width and using that dimension when laying out. Will take some getting used to.

Spot on if you want it all in a tape
I am a shop foreman for a commercial glass company. We use other brands of tapes and I thought we could try this Fatmax. The guys pull a tape more than 200 times a day and have to take a beating. After letting them use this one for a week they love it. Accurate and stiff enough to do 10' to 12' pulls without collapsing. Would probably opt for the 25' version moving forw...

Pleased with this product
Overall I really like this tape measure. It's extremely easy to pull out the tape and I really love that the numbers and other details are oversized making it easy to read. 16 ft is a decent size for a tape measure. My only small complaint is that the lock button was a bit clunky/difficult to use.
