Tape fails due to moisture.
Dear Stanley, I have been using only fatmax tapes for years. I recently started installing swimming pools and concrete. Every time I use a fatmax on wet grass in the morning it comes apart, I had two come apart in one week. Great little fat boy
My fatmax tape is just fantastic! The only problem with the fat is that my wife often is using it when I need it. We have more than one but still…it is big, really big and strong. It feels good in my hand. The tape is wide with letters and numbers easy to read. The extended capabilitiy if almost if not a full 41’ really! The finish is nice and the yellow is easy to find...

Best there is
I’ve used the 30ft for yrs and love this tape. It’s held up from dropping too many times account, but it’s the best tape out there hands down.

FatMax for a reason
This is a nice tape measure. I like the FatMax version because it feels good in your hand being chunkier, but also the blade is thicker and wider so it doesn’t bend or break down when you’re casting it out as much as cheapo ones do. I like how far it can extend!
I don’t usually try new things, but I thought I would try this because of the claimed maximum extension of the tape. I do like that the tape can extend further than other tape measures!

The best tape out there!
I will only use Fat Max tape measures from now on - I’ve tried all other brands and I feel I get the most value from the FM tapes regarding durability and dependability.

Easy to read and one hand measuring
This is the only tape measure you'll ever use! It is easier to read than other brands. It holds tight for one hand measuring when you don't have someone to hold the other end. We have them in each tool bag, garage and house so they are ready when we need them. My Husband refuses to use any other tape measure and always brings his FatMax if he needs to measure away from ...

Great tape!

Good quality tape measure
Excellent tape measure. I use consistently and love the standout length compared to other manufacturers.
Also like the blade guard that has kept it in really good condition after having for approximately 6 months.

Great tape measure.
Good and solid feel to it... tape doesn't twist and holds its form very well. And its accurate!
