Favorite tape
My go to tape measure for layout .when extending out to get a measure withstands a long distance. The numbering is a good size and contrast to see easily

Fat max tape
I just got a 35 foot fat max and it does not have an eleven foot stand out...not very happy,,,the metal is not as stiff as it was when tit first came out.

Reliable and accurate
I've had both the 25' and the 35' fatmax for many many years at this point. They're super reliable and, after many uses, they continue to keep their rigidity and still retract with ease. Great products!

Should be on your tool belt
I received this Fatmax a couple years ago as a Christmas gift. The 35 feet is a perfect size for almost any job site. The ergonomics and weight is great and isn’t too heavy that it pulls you down. Good tape measure
I have been buying these tapes for around 5 years now. I layout buildings for a concrete company so my tapes get really beat up. These tapes last for a few months in real harsh conditions before they start acting up. They are still readable even though the mylar coating wears off quick and the blade starts to rust. Flimsy Steel
I have been buying FATMAX Classic 35' tape measures for years for the work I do. The last 3 I've bought are nowhere near as strong as they once were. I measure ceiling heights everyday, most of which are 7'0" or higher. Easy to see and work with.

Now this is a tape measure
I use my tape measure regularly around the house. I don't use it heavily but I have 3 helpers (ages 7, 8 and 11) so it does get abused ;) Bottom line - I love this tape measure. It is heavy duty, numbers are easy to read, retracts at a moderate speed, and stands out to 10' plus. When I need to measure, this is my go to measuring tape!

Stopped retracting within a few weeks of owning
I bought this tape and only used it for a few weeks before it fully stopped retracting. It's very frustrating to have to push the tape back in after every use when you are measuring things that are over 30 ft long.

fat garbage
33-735 never recoiled correctly since new now it sticks about 24". have rewound some stanleys before but upon opening this exploded in my face

Great Product!

FatMax tapes: My Work Horse
I have used 25' and 35' FatMax tapes since they came out decades ago. Also the 100' tapes as well. I find these tapes easy to read and I span six to eight feet accurately. Use it everyday
I have been using a fat max tape for at least 12 years, daily. Is it perfect? No but I have yet to find a tape comparable to what this can bring to the table. I replace mine on average every 2 months.

I’m a journeyman carpenter and after about a month the first 1 1/2 “ mark my tape weakened then split and unable to pull out unless remove the case to find out it is split beyond use....cant find a-replacement tape..... i will never buy another fatmax....

Not happy with this product
I bought my fat max 35' tape about a month ago. I figured I'd try it since it seemed to be better than a standard 35' Stanley tape. Well I was wrong today the tape lost a section out of it at the 1 1/2 " mark..nort real happy about this at all! I do not recommend this product at all!
