Great folder. Only flaw is the Velcro closure. It doesn't stay stuck.

Not 2 inches
The base of this folder measures 1-18 inch in depth. It is constructed of rigid plastic. There is no way it can expand period no less to 2 inches. That feature was the only reason I purchased this folder.

Getting Financial Papers organized is easy with the proper file folders
I have been attempting to gently nudge my significant other into organizing her financial papers instead of the "file by pile" method she presently uses. We use these for projects in the field permit processing etc. Very useful. easy to identify w/ Project Name and number. Once the work is completed easy to store for years to come.
