Save Your Money
The timer we received was completely defective. On the bright side, we notified Staples and they promised to issue a refund for the purchase amount. Not sure if others were more successful in getting a working timer, but we will not be repurchasing this item.

Not for me
You need to read the instructions! Once, I did that I found that to reset the timer, takes awhile as you have to go through all the digits to get back to zero. It also beeps randomly.

Digital timer
This is a great, easy to use, little timer. I use it to help my young reader feel in control of the dreaded reading time. They can set it, start it, and the best part, turn it off when finished.

Userful digital timer with an audio alert
A very useful device to evaluate your kid's ability in doing competitive math. I bought this on sale and it is working fine for now.
