Easy to use, lightweight pencile sharpener that quickly gives your pencils a new life. I think the images speak for themselves of the before and after pencil I sharpened. The sharpener is mostly plastic but holds quite a bit of shavings so shouldnt need to be emptied often but easily twists the compartment to empty when needed. I am not impressed with this pencil sharpener.
It is virtually impossible to install this item in a manner that it will maintain its stability. Not recommended. Every other product I have purchased from Staples has been great. Just not this one.

Nice sharpener. Suction base does not work.
This pencil sharpener works great and once I have a place to screw it into the wall in our new house I'm positive it will get a lot of use! My only complaint is that the suction cup to hold it to a flat surface does not work at all.
In all honesty it could be operator error, but if that is the case it is not intuitive or easy to figure out.

Great Pencil Sharpener
This pencil sharpener works great. It give pencils a nice sharp point and sharpens smoothly. It's very versatile as it has plenty of pencil width options and it seems very well-made and durable. I also like that the sharpening blades can be replaced.

The perfect sharpener for me
This sharpener is amazing for how sharp and precise my point is on my pencils after sharpening. I like that there’s different sizes so that way no matter what pencil my student praying I can sharpen their pencil. It’s super durable, and I love the look of it in my classroom.

Reminds me of grade school!
Reminds me of grade school! It’s easy to use and cleanly sharpens my pencils. It doesn’t sharpen them in a way that they are likely to break quickly. This seems sturdy (not like a lot of new designs). Classic and effective

The option to mount it using suction is convenient
This sharpener sharpens pencils to a fine point and works well for both regular and colored pencils. The option to mount it using either suction or screws is convenient, and the ergonomic crank makes it easy for kids to use.

Great sharpener!
Love this! Reminds me of what I used as a kid. Works well and I love that it can be mounted so it doesn’t slide around. Quality name too. Can also move it if needed. Sharpens fast and accurately. I prefer over loud mechanical ones! Thank you!

High-quality sharpener!
Extremely sturdy and well-built sharpener! Highly quality! I love all the options for different pencils. Comes with screws to mount to table or wall. My kids prefer this sharpener over all the others in th house. Pencils sharpen perfectly. Highly recommend for home or school setting!

Amazing!

Good quality
It sharpens to a precision point.
The suction attachment is strong and stable. It's fun to use! It is of course slower than an automatic one, but it’s especially good for a classroom or child to learn how pencil sharpeners work.

Works great!
I don't usually use pencil sharpeners thay much, but I've been needing one for my colored pencils and honestly my eyebrow pencils 😂 this one works really good! I love that it doesn't use batteries. It also gives you an option to mount it if wanted. It works really good honestly! I reslly like it. Definitely think I'll be using it more than what I thought

Sturdy
Bostitch makes a quality pencil sharpener. Sturdy with good weight to it. I brought it into my classroom where it was utilized daily. Has stood up to the wear and tear. Easy to empty.

Nostalgic pencil sharpener
This pencil sharpener brought me back to elementary school days. Not only is it a great sharpener but it’s a super cute addition to my husbands office. It’s practical and does the job!

Love this very retro
This old school pencil sharperner is so nostalgic im super happy to have it came beautifully package very retro made if metal and portable love this for my home my son loves it very ergonomic low noise level precise cut everytime

It works great. The pencils come out very sharp and smooth. I wish there had been a mounting template to help mount it straight. I made my own template so all is good.

Good but not great
While it puts a good sharp point on the pencil it leaves a strip of wood extending up the lead which limits how long between sharpenings. Pencil has to be jiggled in the sharpener to stop this. Also there is no stop in it to prevent oversharpening. An entire pencil can be whittled down to a stub in seconds if not careful. It is otherwise strongly built to last a good l...
