Easy application - strong bond!
I have used various mounting tapes in the past and have had different levels of success. This product was very easy to use and to be able to cut strips to my required lengths. Was easily able to use the product to mount something on the outside of my house. It already has survived big temp swings and moisture and the strong bond is still there. Great product!

Terrible experiences fix this product
Nearly impossible to remove the backing tape on one side. Absolutely terrible product and complete waste of money

Great temporary tape. Backing hard to remove.
Scotch mount clear tape is strong yet removable that can be used to hang photos, mirrors or any other place where you need a non-permanent tape.
I used the tape for to hold an A/C unit vent in the window instead of drilling holes in my window sash. It did the trick.

Terrible product.
Impossible to remove backing without damaging tape and ruining existing mount. Gave up. Will not buy again or recommend. Need option for zero stars.

Good Product
I used Scotch Mount to adhere heavy weight plastic shelf liners in my pantry. It’s works very well and has a strong hold. The only drawback is the adhesive is hard to remove from the carrier portion of the tape as it is soft in warmer weather (the kitchen was 77 degrees) making it somewhat tricky to remove.

It holds and is truly clear!

Very strong tape
I used this product to attach a tray of paper towels to my bathroom mirror. The tray kept getting wet when it was on my bathroom counter. This product allowed me to mount the tray directly too the mirror, keeping it dry. The mounting tape was strong and kept the tray above the sink.

Strong hold with a nice clean look

Works Remarkably Well
The Scotch Mount Double-Sided Mounting Tape is designed for use on smooth surfaces, but I tried in on a relatively smooth, clean, exterior stucco surface and it has adhered extremely well - much to my surprise and delight. I am very pleased with this product and imagine it would work excellently on a smooth surface.

Industrial strength for sure!
I am amazed by the holding power of Scotch Mount double sided mounting tape! This clear tape is, without question, industrial strength. I used this to place a heavy erasable calendar on a concrete wall-and it worked like a dream! I can’t wait to try this outside by my garden shed.

Secure way to hang items without nails and tacks
I received this free from 3M to use and review. I used the Scotch Mount Double-Sided Mounting Tape to hang a picture for my daughter on her wall. This looks like a good product, but I've been unable to come up with a use for it at present. One negative is the amount of tape you need to hold a heavy object. While it says it holds up to 15 lbs., but the amount of tape needed is a drawback

Scotch mount clear double sided mounting tape
Scotch mount clear double sided mounting tape is awesome! I used it to mount a picture on the wall and it worked perfectly! It was easy to use and i love that it can hold up to 15lbs!!! I also like that its a clear tape.

Double sided mounting tape
They don't call this mounting tape for nothing. This is a heavy duty doubles sided tape that has worked great for putting up signs. It is thick, has easy to peel backing, and you can barely tell it is being used visually.
I used this for a sign on my house and it has stayed put even with high winds and debris hitting it.

Good mounting tape
I used this mounting tape as a replacement for picture hangers on smaller prints. The thickness of the tape is great and it's easy to mount on flat items. It worked well for smaller prints, but I'm worried about heavier items, even though it says up to 15 lbs.

Scotch Mount Double-Sided Tape
I received the Scotch Mount Double-Sided tape and have used it on several items. The tape can hold items weighing up to 15 lbs (6,8 kg). It is clear, which makes it great to use and no one will realize that you used tape.

This tape is doing the job!
This tape has been doing the job! 3M sent me a free sample of this to evaluate and I love it. I tried using other kinds of mounting tape products, but they couldn’t hold up to the task! This tape is secure.
