Messy Eraser
I was looking for the Pentel brand Hi-Polymer eraser but they were out of those at the store so I bought these papermate brand hoping they were similar. Turns out they are just messy.

Only clean eraser
I have used these erasers for 60 years. They are the only ones I trust when writing on music I’m working on manuscripts. They leave a clean erasure. Doesn’t change the color of the page! Removes all the pencil marking! I wish there were these kind of racers on number two pencils.

White Pearl erasers
White erasers are essential when using sectional charts for navigation. They don't leave a pink eraser residue stain line when erasing previous navigation DR LOP Fix and course lines preserving the integrity of the chart.

Erasers that work
I have been unable to get adequate eraser results with my pencil cap erasers. This block eraser works extremely well. I received it after recycling my inkjet cartridge for a $5 coupon. I am so very appreciative of the Staples recycling program.
