My Favorite Pen
I love the rich color and the medium point. It is easy to see on different color envelopes and documents. I always know which notes are mine. They also come in teal and I have bought 10 packs of refills for years as the pens keep going!

Pentel Retractable medium pt. pens
It is difficult to get these pens started when new. Once ink starts to flow it does not flow smoothly with skips in the writing. At other times the writing is blotchy. Pen works best if held at an absolute 45 degree angle, and performs poorly at other angles. I do not recommend this product.

Perfect for what I needed.
I’m a very old guy and when I decided to begin a journal I knew that I wanted the writing to be black,sharp and black. Rapidograph ? I tried the gel pen and I can write faster with it and it delivers a consistent line weight…and the lines…so far….are black. I like it.

Very Smooth Writing, Pen Body Not Great
The pen writes very well. The ink is smooth, and it dries quickly. I'm not loving the pen body, it is basically a tube with minimal grip, but the ink makes up for it in my opinion.

Energel, My favorite Pen
