It works!
I would prefer a less transparent Document Envelope but did not want to order 15. It is fine for my use. There is not a lot of room to expand. Last years design included a very handy outside pocket.

Good but not water proof
I was looking for waterproof containers for letters and I read somewhere that these were .... but they are not. You could run through the rain holding them and your letters would be OK but you could not submerge them in water, not even for a few seconds. There is a good sized gap where the zipper contacts the edge of the plastic that would be open to the water.
