Bad buy
I don't see what the coated edge is for!!! I cannot label the folders with a pen. This purchase was a waste of money and time.

I hate these things
these come with three tabs one each in the right center and left position. This seems like a good idea but folding down the other tabs you don't want is a huge pain. The little slots that are supposed to hold down the unwanted tabs are hard to use and I ended up tearing them most of the time. Then the slots don't hold the tabs so I had to tape them down. Plus the fo...

too much whiz not enough bang
i admit this is a user error - I did NOT understand the product description. Each file folder has ALL 3 tab positions on it. You have to fold down the tabs you don't want to use - the tabs themselves are shiney and difficult to write on. I suspect that using file lables will not work well either - because of the finish being so slick. I wont buy these again. HOWEVER tha...

budget files
Good for general use - larger files need a stronger type file

Wrong item!
I thought I was ordering the standard 3 cut files and was surprised to get the style that needed folding. Too much to manipulate I need regular file folders.

Flexible labels are extra work to fold
Product added more work to office. Difficult to keep unused tabs folded down and always had to find Perm. Marker to write on tabs since normal ink does not work.

Difficult to fold tabs
You can't really go too wrong with a manila folder. This does what it's advertised to do namely hold documents. What I thought would be great about this folder was that you could choose which of the 3 tabs not to fold. However maybe I'm all thumbs but I find it difficult to fold the 2 non-used tabs and get them to stick. I suppose it could be useful to unfold another ...

Great Idea But Not Quite
The idea behind these folders is great but by the time I folded the extra tabs back I didn't save much time. The most irritating thing is that the extra tabs catch on the folders behind them even though you can tuck the ends into the little slits on the back. Slightly annoying is that my file folder labels are just a little too long for the tabs (they fit fine on regul...

Great idea!
I'm surprised this wasn't thought of sooner! Its nice to be able to just pull one out of the box and pick the tab orientation that you need. My only complaint is that the tab itself is just a little less wide so I had to cut the label to fit the tab.
