Big but not TOO BIG
I picked this up for the home office as I wanted something larger than the normal 8-gal rectangular trash bins which fill up so fast with any amount of paper. The large circular shape allows me to throw away small boxes as well.

HUGE!!
This is WAY bigger than 44 gallons. Try like twice that size. We have several 60 gallon trash cans in our hospital and I wanted one a bit smaller and this one is twice the size!

Great trash can
Good quality trash can . I like the vents molded into it . Makes taking out bags much easier than the older designs.

Rubbermaid Brute
Exactly what I needed. An option to buy a lid would be nice but not essential.

Makes a great storage container
I needed a container that would hold large dog food bags. Because of hot summers I need to bring the food indoors to our laundry/mud room. I’m really happy that the can is white. I can leave the dog food in their owns bags and the oils in the food won’t get stuck on the inside of the can and go rancid. The can is a great size for doing this and convenient for restocking...

Like they use to be!
Back in the 80s the Rubbermaid Roughneck can was extremely tough. I got two of them and still have one of them in great shape today and it spent most of its years outside (the other one was stolen). I have noticed that newer Roughnecks are cheaply built and will only last for a few years. This Heavy Duty can is what the Roughneck use to be like! In fact they really old ...
