Ordered online, but...
I was supposed to receive a "ready for pickup" notice within an hour after purchasing online, but the notice was never sent. I went to the store anyway, and they had the drives and allowed me to pick them up. So one star deducted for not following through on notifying the customer in a timely manner when the order was ready!

Seagate 2TB HDD 3.5 " Drive
I currently have a 1 TB Seagate drive that has been working flawlessly for the past 10 years. I just needed more space, so I purchased this unit as a storage overflow, to fee up space on the main HD. Installed flawlessly. Only issue is that no SATA cables were available in the store.

Not What I Needed
I really wanted just a 500GB drive as that is the masimum for My older computer operating system. I had to take my computer to a computer repair place with the new drive so they could partition the 2T drive as my old drive had crashed and I could not get a Windows 7 32 bit operating system at Staples loaded. It is still at the repair shop.

Too thin for my removable backup tray.
This was not a good selection for me as I need it for my removable backup tray, which is sized for the traditional dimensioned hard drive. These new trays work with raw hard drives, without the need for a separate mounting. But these thin profile hard drives have to be manually guided to the base in order for the connectors to line up.
