Good for phone use
I bought this because the supplied data/fax line supplied with my H.P. printer recently purchased was too short. I've used these before for phone use and they work great, unfortunately a data/fax line apparently requires only two conductors while this phone line has four making it inappropriate for data/fax use.

Did not work in the phone socket for whatever reason I purchased another one that had more wires inside the phone cord and it worked I returned this telephone cord.

Quick purchase for telephone line cord
My line cord broke and I had business papers to print for a meeting. I drove to the Bellevue Staples - walked in - some gentleman asked what I needed and took me directly to the site. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Best service!

I have a landline phone, and the cord broke. so I looked to getting a new one, this was the best priced I could find.

Not so great
This line cord is skimpy, which makes me wonder how long it will last. It also doesn't click into my work computer, which is odd because it does fit my home computer. I've used the same cord on both of my computers for years and never had this problem.

Too long
Staples should stock shorter cables. I only needed a 3-5’ cord and now have 15’ hanging behind my desk. All in all, though, a good product. Because this was the only lengt, it was my only choice.
