Out with the old
It was suggested I replace the 6yo dsl filters and splitter to address dsl internet connection blips. It seemed to help connection speed. I decided to update the 6yo IPv4 modem technology to IPv4/6.

It did not wpork at all and it turned out to be the telephone wires down the road.

It worked just fine for me but when a technician came over to look at my computer he replaced it with a like item so now I have an extra.

Not very flexible
This is not as flexible as it could have been. It really does not follow the curves very well. The brush cleaned the end well, but did not do much further in the line.

phone line filter
I think it probably would have worked very well, but my problem may be an outside pole to house connection. The two workers who went and found it in back (new item, just delivered) were marvelously kind to get it -every working there is wonderful.

didn't need this for phones set with 5 hand sets. would have to buy 5 at around $15.00 each, hope I can return the one I bought.

Eliminate landline static
This filter does what it is supposed to do. It eliminated the static on my landline caused by a nearby radio broadcast station. I had to use two, one at the wall and one on the phone.

Doesn’t work
The filter probably works for a line connected both to DSL and telephone. Doesn’t work for a landline phone that connects to a cell.

Noisy phone lines

stuck in phone jack, not working
The not working part could be a bad phone jack, but the size of of this might be a problem for other older jacks.
