Avery labels are the BEST!
I use these with my laser jet to print the candle labels for my small cottage business. Perfect size; easy to use and easy to design on the Avery site. Avery products are my 100% go to!

Very frustrating process
I've now spent an hour trying to figure out how to work with the 22822 labels. That template isn't in Word, so I came to the site to either find specs or a downloadable update. First I clicked a wizard which did nothing but try to install a toolbar and then didn't actually run any wizard. Then I downloaded a template, but couldn't load it in landscape view. The site has...

I think that they should be a little thinner so that they will look seamless on whatever you’re using them for.

Defective batch - not clear
Like another review I read, I have white labels in a box marked clear 22822. It took me 30 minutes of trying to figure out what the deal was. I thought somehow I was getting my labels confused. How can this happen? It kind of messed up my project, but this too shall pass. Ugh.

The ink doesn't stay on. I printed on them it wipes right off. I had to print my labels on white paper then put the clear labels over it.

Not actually clear
I've ordered these labels now four times, and first off, the first three were fabulous. (Little disappointed that the template is no longer supported within Word - not too thrilled about the online label maker, but that's for a different review.) This time however, they were white. These apply clear, but shiny
I used these to label a playing board I had painted on a wall. The label applies clear and sticks. I do note that my paint finish is semi-gloss and the labels are glossy -- you are able to discern the difference in the shininess of the label

Not sticky enough for our use.
We are trying to find labels that will stick to fabric and not peel off. We had no luck with these labels.

Professional Packaging
Looks much more polished and professional than standard paper labels. Great for glass or plastic vials/jars/etc. Containers must be white or light colored, though, or the printing is very difficult to see.

Avery 22822 Print to the edge glossy label
I have never used a clear label before and wanted to make a gift for the staff at work.
I was very impressed with the designing tools on the Avery website and how easy it was to design a label and print.
I made the cutiest gift ever by putting the label on a bottle of hand sanitizer. It looked very professional and I will purchase them again.

Nice Product Design
The labels were used for an invitation. Ease to design. Great template ideas. However, it was hard to separate and it smeared upon touching.
