Well the tape is less expensive which generally means it's not as good. Yes that is the case here just pay a little more and get the Scotch tape.

Invisible tape is invisible
I can always use some Staples® Invisible Clear Tape and the price was very reasonable. This tape comes in handy for all sorts of projects or to just have on hand. Not to mention wrapping presents!

CLEAR STICKY TAPE!
This is tape that does what it says. It is clear and sticky so what else do you want from it? The cost is less as well. Perfect!
