Might not work for me
The unit is very light weight. It is so light that I have to use two hands, one to hold the sharpener an one to sharpen. Not real happy with it. I’m sorry. I may have to take it back and get a heavier one.

Don't spend the money
Too light weight. Requires 2 hands to hold down to sharpen, and then it is uneven. Waste of $

Works Great
So far I have sharpened about 200 color pencils and it is working great. The shavings tray is bigger than it looks but is also easy to overfill.

I like X-Acto products. This one, not so much
This X_Acto pencil sharpener is not very strong. It was not the least expensive, but does not appear to have lasting qualities. I wrote this statement as a result of the noise, time it took to sharpen a pencil and the feel of the plastics that make up this product. In general, I am a fan of X-Acto products. I cannot recommend this sharpener.

Great Start
I just received my sharpener and am happy with the results so far. No over-sharpening that leads to breakage and it isn't too loud. It also sharpens very quickly.
