Only worked for a couple weeks.
This sharpener was great for a couple weeks but then it just stopped! We made sure the shavings tray was correctly placed we checked for stuck led.. nothing. For the price I am disappointed that it broke so quickly.

Not what I hoped for
This sharpener does produce a relatively long point which is a positive. However it does not sharpen evenly often revealing one side of the graphite while wood reacts the tip of the point on the opposite side. Changing the position of the pencil (twirling or taking in and out) fixes the problem but is frustrating.

My mom does adult coloring books and always needs a point on her colored pencils. She loves this sharpener. It's heavy duty and hopefully will last. She's burned out two other models.

Best Sharpener Ever
I have purchased three other teacher grade sharpeners and this one is by far the best. It sharpens so fast! I get a perfect point every time! I like the light indicator that comes on when a pencil is sharpened. It's not too noisy. It's got a really large compartment for pencil shavings. It's so good!!! My students are tired of me talking about it!

Don't Waste Your Time/Money
1- The sharpener pictured is not the one they sent. The one I received had a 6 hole dial that you manually turn. The picture/description implies that it auto adjusts. If you read the specs it actually lists it as a 6-hole dial!! The picture and description is for a different model.The model and item number they sent me (X-ACTO 1675) matched the item in the order and web...

Amazing!!
It sharpens well and then shuts off when done. The other model I had didn't do that and my students would look at me while giving the sharpener an extra go trying to be funny. I love that this will nip that in the bud...lol. I love my wacky and silly students.

Ok
The sharpener works great. It has a auto stop function and sharpens really well. But when you pull the pencil out the shavings fly everywhere. It’s a mess. Also when pulling out the bin to throw out the shavings it’s a mess as well. There is so much static that the shavings are “stuck” to the bin. What a mess to clean! I’m probably going to return it.

Uneven sharpening
This is my second X-Acto 1675. I replaced the first one after 10 months because it was leaving part of each pencil point unsharpened. The new unit is doing the same thing even with different brands of pencils.

Good sharpener
I buy several of the exact model of sharpener. They work great and last longer than most. However my last sharpener didn't have the light on it. I was disappointed in that.

xacto 1675 electric pencil sharpener
have had it less than 2 months and already it is not working properly. Unfortunately Staples won't exchange or accept it for return because it is longer than 14 days. Not very happy

Pencil sharpener is O.K. Not great. Pencils do not sharpen evenly. One side has lead...the other side has wood.
