Great
love the fact that I can create the labels on my computer. I can type out a whole list at one time and print it out on the label maker. Saves so much time this way and I can also use my favorite fonts.

Can't instal on iMac
Can't install. Says extension cannot be used. No back light and screen is hard to read even with average light in room.

A bit of a learning curve and the accompanying manual is useless, but by downloading the operators guide (and printing out a diagram of the features) it can be mastered.

Great little label maker!
When my old Brother P-touch died I looked around for another portable label maker. This Dymo is much better and it has received top ratings. All the cheaper models either don’t come with an AC charger or they drain the batteries quickly. This one is perfect!

Not compatible with Windows 11 or Office 365
My Dymo Label Maker LM160 disappeared so I bought the LabelManager 280--mostly because the 160 was not in stock and might take a month to arrive. I was attracted by the ability to run software on Windows to print labels as I can with my Brother address-label printer.

Better than my Brother
I like the print options. However, I wish special characters were a little easier to access and use. Also, the buttons are a bit clumsy to press easily and accurately. I like it better than my old Brother labeler.

Average quality low resolution prints
The software shows everything in really crisp resolution. But prints look like they are 100dpi or less. I think the product features are exaggerated.. The software could show a more realistic preview.
I would not recommend any advanced version based on the experience with the software. It does not accomplish much more than what the cheaper Dymo models do.

Great! easy to use, easy to load
It does its job well. A simple screen, nothing complicated. Just type the label, hit print, it prints in half a second, press the cut button and it's done. Super quick, does the job needed. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Better and easier than expected
First, the email I received for rating this item has links that don't work, so I had to come to the website to rate it.
But I am pleasantly surprised at how versatile this printer is when using it in conjunction with the software. Creating and printing labels takes a fraction of the time that doing so manually, and they're perfect!

Perfect for Organization
I am super crafty. I even have a spare bedroom in my home that has bookshelves and totes to keep everything organized. This label maker is easy to operate, and comes with everything needed to get things going. It was easy to load, and easy to operate. Instructions were easy to understand, but I didn't really need them, it was pretty much self explanatory.

Helped bring order to out a chaotic filing system.
I am new to labeling and used this to organize an office filing system. This appears to have the best of the best features among labelers. Good label manager
I wish I had known about DYMO label manager 280 earlier! This is one good tool to stay organized in office as well as home. At first, I was skeptical that it would be tricky to use. But, it proved me wrong. It is a very convenient and easy to use label manager.
