Good for Mailing and Crafts
I use these labels for regular business mailing labels and also as gift cards, crafts, labels for boxes stored in the garage for china and Christmas ornaments - multiple uses all year long. You can download templates from Avery, or create your own designs. I use the mailing labels as is, but cut out various shapes I want for holiday crafts. For example, see Thanksgiving...

Avery TrueBlock Inkjet Shipping Labels
They don't STICK!! Tried using for shipping boxes. Had to clear tape over ALL of them as the adhesive did not adhere to boxes.

Avery White Inkjet Shipping Labels
I typically use this product to create wine labels that feature the photo of my dog and cool graphics. The colors are sharp, the fonts are true. Recently I made change of address labels to affix on postcards, and they looked terrific as well.

Great Labeling Resource
Used these labels for contact information on the backs of printed illustration promotion materials. Easy templates to work from; prints clearly and doesn't peel off. The only drawback is make sure you've positioned the label the first time - it really sticks!

There are better products
Although they say they are smudge proof they are not. I bought them by mistake, I meant to buy the Avery 8254, much better label. I don't need labels to cover anything.
