Good simple sharpener
Had one that lasted me 5+ years with occasional use. One day stopped working, and though I couldn't figure out why, decided to purchase the same sharpener as it had served me well previously. Plus I love the fun colors.

Pencil sharpener battery powered
It is less powerful than our last one, but maybe the last one was medium or heavy-use. This new one is light use and so far works very well. It makes a high-pitched whine when sharpening. Worth the money, though.

Disappointed
While this sharpener was self-described as "light duty", I must admit (sadly) it was characterized correctly. I was hoping for something a bit more robust, akin to our old battery-powered sharper which gave up the ghost a few years back. Pleased With Purchase
So far, this sharpener is doing the job for me. I do a lot of note taking for two Bible study classes I attend. I use pencils because I can easily erase when I change an answer.
Using pens would necessitate using whiteout which is time consuming.

Only for standard pencils
I asked customer service if it fit wider pencils, they said yes but the device only takes standard pencil sizes. I'm sure it works great, just not what I needed.

Does the job well
Is light weight, sturdy, and compact. Brings the pencil to a nice sharp point. Operation could be smoother, but that would require a more powerful motor and result in a heavier product. Overall it’s a good compromise. I would recommend.

Flimsy.
Bought this electric sharpener about two weeks ago. So far, I've used it on 2 pencils which took way too long because its not durable. Tried to use it again and it just stopped. Took the batteries out and there was so much corrosion on the inside. Will be bringing it back to store.

Super Sharpener
I tried rechargeable batteries on this and it did not work. Rechargeable batteries only have 1.2V. The instructions do require 1.5V. So I did that. It was amazing when it started automatically inserting the pencil. It sharpens to the nicest point ever. It even fits heavier pencils like Inktense which are very thick pencils.
