A stylish sharpener that works well…
This machine is compact cool looking and the price was right. Particularly when I found it was on sale for less than $10.

Quick and handy tool
This little sharpener works great! Minus a star due to the size. I wish it would have been a little smaller but it fits in a drawer. Not ideal in a backpack. It's very quick and sharpens great. It has a little weight to it so when using it it doesn't move around. I was working with a manual sharpener prior to this purchase. So this is worth the $15 (approx.)

It works
My previous battery operated pencil sharpener broke. This one works. What more can I say? Just glad Staples had them in stock. Thank you.

Battery powered pencil sharpener.
It sharpens well. It is a nice size. I owned another one for many years and it finally wore itself out. I would recommend it to anyone.

Pencil sharpener battery powered
It is less powerful than our last one but maybe the last one was medium or heavy-use. This new one is light use and so far works very well. It makes a high-pitched whine when sharpening. Worth the money though.

Disappointed
While this sharpener was self-described as "light duty" I must admit (sadly) it was characterized correctly. I was hoping for something a bit more robust akin to our old battery-powered sharper which gave up the ghost a few years back. While the new sharpener looks good and does admittedly work it's disappointingly weak and slow. If you are in the market for a batter...

I wanted to purchase a n electric sharper but when I went to the store the price was listed at 24.95 When I looked on line it was 14.98 That is why I purchased the sharper listed

Pleased With Purchase
So far this sharpener is doing the job for me. I do a lot of note taking for two Bible study classes I attend. I use pencils because I can easily erase when I change an answer. Using pens would necessitate using whiteout which is time consuming.

Only for standard pencils
I asked customer service if it fit wider pencils they said yes but the device only takes standard pencil sizes. I'm sure it works great just not what I needed.

Does the job well
Is light weight sturdy and compact. Brings the pencil to a nice sharp point. Operation could be smoother but that would require a more powerful motor and result in a heavier product. Overall it’s a good compromise. I would recommend.
