Solid, well made product.
We needed to replace a 30-year old metal file cabinet which was a cheapy when bought. It did not age well. It had hard to pull out and push in drawers. It was wobbly and crocked. The HON is like something out of the space-age. We love it and wish we had bought it sooner.

No keys
Came with no keys! I needed this locking cabinet ASAP. Not great quality for spending the extra money on Hon. There is a huge gap in the top drawer on the right side below the lock. I’m sure that even if I did have keys & were able to lock it, it would not be very secure. It looks very easy to access the locking mechanism through the gap between the drawer & sidewall.

Hon makes a sturdy well-functioning file cabinet. It comes completely assembled, ready to use. All you need to do is remove it from the box and it's ready to go.

Good quality, no surprises
The drawers have hardware that enables them to fully extend. Construction is medium sturdy, not quite full commercial grade, but that's good for hauling up stairs. They do fit standard file hangers. The lock works, if you wish to secure your files.

Hon 4 drawer file cabinet series 510
It would be good if it included a diagram of how to get the drawers out. We had to move it upstairs so we needed to take the drawers out. Different than other Hon file cabinets I’ve purchased so different way to take the drawers out. Figured it out after 2 days, Hon is a quality product and that is why this was purchased.
