LOVE the Dymo Labelwriter 450 twin turbo
I have had this Dymo Twin Turbo 450 for years. I love its software and the printer has worked fantastic with all the applications I use with labels. Cannot recommend it highly enough. I have two of them. One for each house we have.

Hardware great - software meh
I have owned this unit for many years and love what it does. The physical device is very reliable. The software works once that you get it installed - but it can be a chore getting the software installed. Disappointing Software &
I've had this printer for years and have loved it up until two weeks ago. Suddenly, the labels stopped printing (old Dymo label program). I have tried everything including the recommendations from previous posts. I've now uninstalled it once again and will try to reinstall Dymo Connect (I dislike this version). NO Instructions or labels
Comes with only a QR code for operating/set up instructions and NO labels. So far I am very frustrated and regretting this purchase.

Printer freezes when switching label sizes.
Brand new printer freezes when switching label sizes in the software. You have to power cycle the printer to get it to print after changing label sizes. I contacted support about this issue and they tried to suggest that my printer had failed. Mind you - it's new. Now there's a software update and it created new problems. Don't buy a Dymo Label Writer Twin Turbo
I have a Dymo Label Writer Twin Turbo.
The software only sees a Virtual printer, it does not see the printer! The OS sees the printer and can print a test page.
I tried the usual turn off/remove software / reboot.
There is NO power button to press multiple time!!!
What a load of rubbish.

Don't buy, if you already did, return ASAP
Basically everyone on here is saying the same. Software sucks. I have to connect the printer AFTER installing the software. Sounds easy enough. Except that doesn't work. And if I connected it first, then what should I do? No instructions. Perhaps you are doomed forever and have to return the printer and buy one from another company.

Back to the drawing board
Not sure who's runnin' the ship, but usability (for example, the option to simply have wrapping text...like we did in the 1990's) is unavailable. Many more quirks too long to list. If you are tech-inclined, you can hack the system...sorta.

Bad Printer
Not easy to use. Print orientation is pain. Suddenly, the printer started to print vertically instead of horizontally. No idea how is it happening.

Problem with dymo connect software in windows 11
In windows 11 Dymo connect hangup if you wanna try to add text! after hours i understand why... i have in my fonts folder over 5700 files... and hung up for 8-10 min!! If you wanna add extra text again the same...

It seems the problem you are facing is related to the large number of fonts installed on your system (over 5700), which is causing delays when adding text in Dymo Connect. Dymo Connect does not install fonts, so the issue likely from the number of fonts installed on your machine.

Excellent printer, worse software over time
I've been using labelwriter printers for just shy of 20 years now. I have owned multiple 450 twin turbos. I agree wholeheartedly that the latest dymo software is absolute garbage compared to what they had 15+ years ago. Bring back the old software.

I have used the Label Writer 450 Twin Turbo for over decade now. It was a great product until the past few years and even worse now since they went with the Dymo Connect instead of the desktop version software. I want my OLD software back!

ABYSMAL SOFTWARE MAKES THIS USELESS FOR ME.
If I could give it zero stars I would. Thanks to a recent software update this once great product is now a worthless piece of ... The update not only erased my many important files, it no longer even has the TEMPLATES i was using so I can't reconstruct them. Thanks for ruining something I really needed DYMO!!! :(

Works like a champ!
I've had this printer for about 2 years. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. Works like a champ. I just wish Dymo had a twin port wireless printer. Sometimes I need to print something from my phone. No way to do that with this thermal printer.
