Handy file , could be better
Convenient size, however the lid is too tight such that I am concerned that the hinge will break when opening it.

Tight fit, cheaply made
The interior width is barely the size to actually fit letter-sized hanging file folder in the front or read section of the box. 1/8" inch all around would have made it all fit.
The included black file folders were cheaply manufactured and every single one had come unglued on at least one side. On the other hand, the "slots" to insert plastic tabs were so tight and flim...

Just what I needed
Great little box for keeping personal documents in order. Hanging folders are great for filing, and there is plenty of space space to store a couple of books. Sturdy construction, not hard at all to open and close like some reviews suggest. Handle makes for great on-the-go. Love the look and small profile.

Love it!!
As a truck driver this was perfect for my truck. I own my company and do a lot of paperwork. This secures it safely. The added benefit is its small and doesn't take up room.

So far so good
I ordered 2. One was broken on arrival. Quill was great about getting a replacement out quickly. They look nice. The hinges seem pretty good. I'm just not sure the latches are going to be strong enough for the daily use they will get.

Esselte Portfile® Large Hanging File Box, Granite, 10 7/8"H x 13 7/8"W
I bought expecting legal pocket folders to fit inside the File Box. It was a bit short however I was able to get other pocket folders to fit. I really like the design and quality. I plan on buying another one for a special project I am working on.

good enough
the top doesnt open and close well but it's good enough for my purposes -ie filing tax records and keeping it in a closet. If i had to carry it around and frequently open and close it the top would drive me crazy

Hanging File Box
My daughter recently moved into her own apartment and is paying her own bills now. She needed some place to put all of her papers, e.g. personal, medical, receipts, and bills. This box is the perfect size to hold all of these items and easy to store!
