Best mechanical pencils
These mechanical pencils are better than other plastic pencils. The grip and feel of the pencil is nice. The lead writes dark/visable. The eraser actually works compared to other pencils where eraser leaves a smudge. Great all around.

issues with the eraser
THE ERASER SMUDGES! I have never been so disappointed. The pencil writes smoothly, but the eraser ruins the writing experience entirely. Will not be purchasing again or recommending to any of my MANY peers.

Best pencils ever
These were the best mechanical pencils I had growing up. I was going through my bag of pens and pencils and I stumbled upon one that I kept from middle school. Good long lasting mechanical pencil
Good pencils! I bought this once before in the store and two or three years later it’s still working great so I went and bought a dozen more but this time I had to buy them online.

Fantastic mechanical pencils!
I have tried all the other "name" brand mechanical pencils and these Staples Postscript ones are the absolute best!! Please keep making them and selling them, especially with the blue barrel color. Thank you!

Disappointing
This pencil writes well, but the eraser is inferior. It dries out quickly and leaves that nasty "old eraser" smudge on your paper. To make matters worse, there are no eraser refills available. I've even checked to see if other brands' erasers fit these pencils, but have so far found none that fit. So, I have drawer full of these pencils that no one in my house will use ...

For general use, these pencils seem to be a very good value. The .7mm lead has less chance of breakage than the .5mm size.
