Great upgrade to my other/older label maker!
I try to be extremely organized and labeling things is what I do.
My previous label maker is older and smaller and has now been loaned to, probably permanently, to my office.
Love it!

NO battery included and it does not work without a batter even if it is plugged in
Did not come with a battery....I was just going to use it desktop and plug it in. However, it won't work without a battery, even when plugged in. Be sure to also order a battery!

cost in use is high
I am not blown away by this item enough to give it 5 stars, but it is a good little workhorse. What kills it for me is the price of the label tape. We go through it like crazy because of the unnecessary extra tape it prints before and after what you have typed in. It is clumsy to use as well. You can't hold it and type; you have to put it down in order to type on the ke...

REPLACED A MUCH OLDER DYMO
It takes the same tapes as my much older one that still had an alphabetical keyboard and was hard to use, and the tape was starting to get stuck inside instead of printing out. This one is great, uses the D1 tapes of all sizes up to 3/4" wide. I also have a Brother P-Touch, I like the Dymo much, much better.

I like it - very little waste
Good quality and little waste which is more important - but have not had it long and not much use it but expect to last long time. It comes with 3/4 inch tape but have to cut it but that is no problem and easy peel on the back

Dymo-mite!
We have lots of specifications on open shelving with black comb bindings. It took forever to find things. Now with white text on clear tape, everything is organized and easy to find. The DYMO printer is easy to use and easy to figure out, it took longer to unpack the box.

Fantastic Little Gizzmo
We are using this little gadget to label all sorts of things. I can't possibly name it all, but just know that it is fun and easy to use on what ever you need to use it for. So far no downfalls.
