Pretty useless
The file itself seems to be sturdy, but the pockets aren’t deep enough, once you put papers (81/2x11) in it you can’t read the tabs. Also the elastic band used to close it isn’t long enough so it won’t close. Unfortunately this is pretty useless to me.

Perfect for our projects

Great for organizing 12 months of birthday cards!
Has 12 pockets with tabs, so it worked great for organizing birthday cards according to the months. Decorated the tabs, too, to make it fun! Made well and should last for years to come!

Roomy 12 slot folder - perfect!

Great for yearly bill organization
I changed up my whole organization system this past month for bills, receipts, and other purchases for my home record keeping. These expanding files work perfectly and keep everything organized. I also like that they come in a variety of colors which also makes the system work even better.

Expands great, but elastic is too small
This expanding file is perfect, but once you add your papers, the elastic band which holds the cover down is too small. As a fix, we have added a hair elastic band to extend it’s reach. Now it works much better!

It’s fine, but not what I expected
The folder might be fine for certain people but it looked very rigid from the photos but it cannot stand upright, especially when the flap is opened which is what I wanted. It doesn’t seem to matter how much it gets filled up, it doesn’t stand upright.

This is a very good quality file, and its 12 pockets make it useful in the way I need it to be. However, there is no pocket on the outside in which to put a label, so I had to scotch-tape the label to it. This is not a good solution. For this reason I give it four stars.

The band goes on the bottom?? Why
The band that straps it together goes around the bottom which I don’t like. The quality seems fine but it would be better if the strap came over the top.
