BEWARE!!! Product 36746 has changed
Now flimsy -- no longer a premium product!! I have used these pads for years and have been satisfied with the sturdiness of the back cover so that one could write without having to place the pad on a surface. When I went to the store I found they are no longer carried in the store so I had to order them and could not tell that the product had changed. When they arriv...

Surprisingly Good Quality
The paper is really excellent. It's really crisp and smooth. Even writing with a fountain pen is a pleasure on this paper. It doesn't absorb all of the ink and spread. The lines stay crisp and clean. That's good quality.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped
The backer board wasn’t as sturdy as I had hoped. I need to lead on something or it just bends backwards.
