Works some of the time
Like some reviews have said, the ink either dries out or has an air bubble or something. They write fine some the time, but when I need them to write well, I can barely get it to write at all. Probably won't purchase them again.

Fatal flaw in design
It's a cheaper pen so I don't expect a ton. But the latching tab which on the retractable mechanism gets bent inwards in a few months and no longer holds. I bought 2 boxes of these for work and had to throw them all out when they still had 50%+ of the ink left. I've tried bending them back out but they either snap off or just stop catching again in a few days... hot ...

Pentel WOW Retractable Gel Ink Pens
I really like these pens better than the ones I ordered before. They write well and seem to last longer.

WOW! These are not great pens
These pens are adequate, but often run out of ink with ink still near the top end of the tube. Also, the mechanism that holds the cartridge out to write often doesn't hold.

A pen that works, smoothly
It does what a pen is supposed to do, it writes. So many pens these days just don't do that.

Good Pen
I love these pens-they are inexpensive and have a very smooth tip for writing. I have had no issues with them at all.

Smooth tip
The pen handles well with a triangular rubber grip. The ink and roller is very smooth.
I used to buy a much more expensive gel pen but when I found this pen on a super sale I bought if for my warehouse (cheap pen) and I tried it and now this is the only pen I buy.

worst pen in the world
Retractable mechanism breaks and fails quickly. What good is a pen if the pen part won't stay out.

Not so much
I normally like these types of pen but this type skips all the time. I have tried using a new pen, thinking that this was a one time problem but no it happens with each one that I have used. The color that I am having problems with is the red - black and blue work fine just the red I have problems with.

Not good
Not a great pen the ink is think since its a med. pt and sometimes a lot of ink comes out in a spot. Smears when you highlight over it.

Decent Pen for the Price
This pen will occasionally skip. It does dry quickly and doesn't tend to smear easily. It is inexpensive and performed better than the BIC BU3 brand of pens, which have a similiar design with the click button on the side. The pen doesn't bleed through paper. It has vivid, black ink that is clear and easy to read. It is not refillable.

Employees really like this pen however the price increase we have seen is way out of line. It nearly doubled in the cost.

Horrible -
When we first started buying these pens about a year ago they were great. They have a nice feel in your hand and worked well. Somewhere along the line Pentel changed the ink because now you CANNOT write with these - the ink skips and stops. It is horrible. You will go through an entire pack trying to find one that will write for any amount of time. We will not buy these...

Love this pen
I've bought this pen several times, love the feel of the pen in my hand, the darkness of the ink, & that it is acid-free and fade proof. Use it for office work & personal notes...only problem is it seems to run out of ink faster than other gel pens...or I could just be using it more than others!
