This binder did not have a view on the front looks like it is made out of cardboard - not covered with plastic. To me it seemed that with use it would tear up on the ends. If it was cheaper maybe i would buy it for unimportant things but i would not buy it for school.

LOVE this binder!
The D ring allows more pages to fit than than the round ring. I fit a whole Chemistry loose-leaf textbook inside it and could still add more pages if necessary. It lays flat unlike the round ringed binders as well and seems to be pretty durable. I would definitely purchase this product again.
