Ampad Evidence Steno Notebook, 6x9, Pitman Rule, Greentint, 80 sheets/pad
I use this type of note book for my genealogical research and making lists of projects. Could not find locally - but Staples had this item.

Disappointed
Purchased due to the lower price compared to other options. Extremely wide ruled even with my larger print handwriting I can fit two lines into one line so the organized purpose does not work with this style.

Not Gregg rule as I remember it.
Lines are far apart. I don't think its really Gregg rule.

Steno Notebook
Front cover not nearly as sturdy as back cover. Neither cover is heavy enough compared to ones I used years ago. Otherwise, okay.

Ampad Steno notebook
What I received was actually Ampad's "Pitman ruled" steno book, which I think has wider spaced lines than the Gregg-ruled. That will do, but I took off one star for the fact that the cardboard backing is flimsy, not as firm as it could be for taking notes without having the pad on a hard surface.

Note Book
The margins were too big to write in normally. It reminds you of a grade schooler's notebook

Ruling on these is way too wide
I have always ordered notebooks and paper by either "wide rule" or "college rule". I got "Pittman" rule because that is the only thing this notebook came in. I did not realize it would look like something a child would write on. How am I supposed to know the difference between Pittman and Gregg, etc rule? We could not use them.
