All wire galvanized metal hooks
This item was very strong nod went in really fast in to the peg board. I also had no problem taking them out and placing them in another area. The four inch size was just what I needed. Will buy this size again and longer ones as needed.

Over all pretty good for the price.
Don't really have a problem with them other then a few were bent and or broken when they came. And when I tried to staighten the bent ones they broke.
