“Be Prepared”
I misplaced/lost a Fave pen (Pilot Precise V7 Fine Point). When I purchased another I also wanted to have the refills I would eventually need. That’s what I Love - No More Non-Refillable Pens !

Good refill for non-Pilot pens
Pilot makes a good refill that fits non-Pilot pens. My pen was decades old an advertising pen or a stationary set pen. I looked at the old refill and it looked like the Pilot refill. I took a chance and bought it. It was the right one; glad I bought it. Smooth writing unlike the old ink refill.

Even though I matched the model numbers exactly to what was in my pen after putting in a new replacement refill and reassembling the pen when I went to write with it I found that it didn’t seem quite long enough. The point would move noticeably into the pen barrel when pressed against paper interfering with my writing. I tried taking it out and reinserting the refill...
