Most Pieces Okay for Younger Children
Santa brought this for my daughter (12 mos). Now she's like a mini Rachel Ray!
She's very young, so I removed the 10-20 pieces with small parts. The set is large. There are still a lot of pieces left to play with, which I'm careful she doesn't ever chew.
She likes to sit at her table & pretend with the dishes. We sit on the floor & have great mommy-daughter "moments" ...

Bought at a garage sale
I had a gears toy in a previous classroom and was excited to find this set at a garage sale and bring it into my new classroom. When I took the pieces out to test them I was so disappointed to find how difficult they were to put together. The old set I had was very easy to put together but I think it was from a different company. So it's not a total loss, I may put toge...

Just okay, nothing spectacular
My grandson loves building things and creating all sorts of interesting designs and things. This set does not feed that creativity. Limited things you can do with it and the pieces are difficult to attach.

Great gift if you want your toddler to

Very happy with the product.
Brought this for our three year old Grandson. He enjoys putting the pieces together and turning the cogs. This looks like something he will explore and use in different ways.

Great purchase!
Just gave these to our twin 2-year-old granddaughters. I did a lot of research, and chose these baskets of play food - I'm so glad I did. They are quality! Heavy duty and very realistic. The girls also love to use the three baskets - so versatile.

Great motor skills toy
We love our gears!!! Great tool for motor skills. Really makes them problem solve and use critical thinking. It is extremely durable and sometime a little tricky for their little hands to take apart but I would rather have that then it not be sturdy and fall apart. encourages creativity and teamwork
We purchased these for our 4-5 yr old church classroom and the kids (and teachers) LOVE them. It encourages creativity and teamwork as the kids build together. It's great for boys and girls both!

GEARS! Fun! and Imagination!
I played with my step grandchildren (4.5 years) and she was not able to do it at first. Then after we build one, she got lots of fun building more on her own. It was FUN to see her use her IMAGINATION to build her own ideas. You can use it indoors or outdoors.

Fascinating Toy for Preschoolers

Fun learning tool
These are so fun and great for learning and creativity. My daughter loves to build things with her gears. We value education in our household, so any toy that stimulates the mind and makes our daughter think is great. This one is up there with one of the best!

Good Product, Too Difficult to Assemble
I practiced building with this set before introducing it to my students for the school year. The base pieces especially were difficult, some of them I couldn't even make fit unless I forced them! Taking the pieces apart was difficult, too.

Reminds me of my childhood
I received this as a gift to use in my church nursery education program. I played with a toy similar to this when I was 4 and I'm thrilled that my Sunday school kids will have this experience. My mom, who got it for me, thinks asked for it for myself, which is partly true. I love it and I know the kids will too.

Grandson loves it!
Grand kid loved it. Took to it right away. He loves gears. The only complaint I have is there were not enough of the six way axles to build the zig zag stairs pictured on the box. Other than that it is great!

GREAT TOY!
My kids love using these dishes to cook in their play kitchen! It keeps them busy for hours! If I'm cooking in the kitchen, I tell them to go cook in their kitchen, and they do!
