Disappointing
Although the packaging and documentation inside the package said it would work in South Africa, experience suggests otherwise. There is a difference between Europe and India/South Africa and the plug won't work!

Useful Tool
These have been around for a while. The Targus product is useful and has the advantage of knowing the quality will be good.

Targus Adapter
This works perfectly in every country I have visited. It is not a voltage regulator, but an adapter and I use it for my cell phone and computer is is all I need.

I told your tech that I wanted a converter to convert 120volt to 220volt cause I was going over seas. He gave me this item. I asked are you sure this will convert the voltage? He said yes. I get home, open it. Read the pamphlet and the first thing it says is this is. It to convert voltage.
