Not an ethernet adaptor

Unfortunately, the Targus support team seems unaware that there are two versions of the Targus ACB10US1, and my attempts to contact them have gone unanswered. It worked once you got the driver.

Read the Reviews, Not the Product Instructions!
What should have taken 2 minutes to install took 2 days because the instructions in the product are WRONG! I'm hoping the adapter performs better than the installation, but you haven't left me with much confidence. If you purchase this adapter, please read these reviews. Description is WRONG
I should have looked up the model number so partially my fault. This is a BLUETOOTH ONLY adapter. The title says it is a WiFi & Ethernet adapter. Had I looked up the model number I would have realized this. I'll be returning this.

Old tech
Not plug and play on Windows 10. Bluetooth 4.0 doesn't have a good range to work with wireless headphones; only works in the same room. It's just fine for mice and keyboards.

This adapter doesn't work, don't buy it.
Utter crap. My windows 10 desktop recognizes the device, but I have 3 separate headphones that have no issues connecting to my laptop, my TV and my phone but won't connect with this device. Downloaded the driver from their site and it can't even find the device, remaining stuck on the first step.

Struggles to work on windows 11
Took a lot of technical tweaking to get it to work. Most people online looking for help on it lead to dead ends.

Hard to find the correct driver.
The driver referred to in the documentation did not work on the Windows 11 PC I tried. Found a driver after some research on HP’s website that worked even tho I was on Dell

No WiFi
This review is not a knock on the product but this is not a WiFi adapter. It is titled incorrectly. I did a search for a WiFi adapter and this showed up in the search results. I should have looked closer at the description to see that this is a Bluetooth adapter not WiFi.

Incompatible
Seemed like it could be useful but this will not work past windows 10. After roughly 4 hours of trying every work around possible it had to be returned.

Didn't realize Targus would build crap
I bought this a couple of months ago, but couldn't get it to work. Didn't try uninstalling and reinstalling as I was distracted by other priorities. Recently went back to it to get bluetooth on my Dell desktop under Windows 10. Never got it to work. I don't recommend.

Although, with Windows 10 there should be no need to update or install any drivers there are times that it may be needed. Doesn't work
The adapter does not work. The software will not load keeps telling me to reboot my computer which I did and sloved nothing. The manual tells me nothing. Tried support and was put on hold forever. Still don't have blue tooth capabilities will likely return it.
