Very Smooth!
I was quite pleased with the Acroball by Pilot. This pen had a very smooth delivery of ink to paper.

Not good pens
These pens smear on things like copy paper but are even worse on letterhead or better paper - or even construction paper! They leave globs of ink that then smudge and smear. Would not recommend them at all!

Comfort and style
Love these pens!!! They write sooo smoothly, and almost gel-like, but don't bleed (even though thin paper). The color is so cute too. Very happy with my purchase!!

Smoothest writing ballpoint pen
I love the feel of a gel ink pen, but due to my
work environment, needed a ball point type ink pen. These are the best of any I’ve tried - grip, writing feel, smudge free.

I'm left handed so ink smears as I write. Not with this pen! Smooth consistency always and I've run out of ink on a few. So happy I found these on Staples website.

A little off...
These are the only ballpoint pens I like. They flow, don't stutter, don't gum up at the tip -- almost perfect.
That said, this specific box doesn't flow as well as others I've bought. It's not a big enough problem to return them, and I haven't tried a variety of paper surfaces yet -- but it's possible they might get relegated to the public pen jar in my office.

Best pens!!

One of the top pens !
Love this pen! I work as an RN and notes need to be PERFECT! The pen does have some blotting issues, but much less than most. I don’t like gels and I don’t like markers. They leave too many ink leaks. I do expect a coupon for this review, as I have given these pens to fellow nurses. I’m good PR!!!
