Wide Expansion Just Right
This sorter is perfectly what we wanted. The expansion at the bottom is about 8" which is perfect as this needs to hold multiple years worth of documents. Did a lot of research and this is ideal for our needs!

Great for in office mail slots for small team
This is nice and sturdy and I am using it as our office mail sorter for folks to get their mail from instead of having a large item this is compact and sits on top of file cabinet

Great File
I needed a file to place my bills in as they arrive during the month. It gets too messy just letting them lie on top of my console. I wanted one that was alphabetized to make things easier and was never able to find one in the stores that I liked. After searching online at Staples, I found the perfect file. It's great to declutter!

Not Sturdy
I was excited to get this - however, the first pocket ripped open at the seam after I had filled the all the pockets with paperwork.

It's OK
It's a little expensive for what you're getting. Received today and haven't had a chance to use much so I'm not sure how durable it will be.

Color, Color, Color!
Great quality and sturdy construction. I have used the same Smead red rope alpha sorter for my HR filing for over 5 years and it is still in great shape. However, I may have to upgrade to this great new color!

Perfect for any Student!
As a college student, using this product helps me keep organized with all my subjects. Keeps my papers nice and crisp so when I turn in homework, it's not all wrinkled! It also lets me file away my important documents. As a young adult, l it's my responsibility to keep all my files put away. Organization is key!

Fantastic Product
The Smead Expanding File is convenient because it stands. We had a previous one just like this one and we daily used it for more than a year. Besides the ware of the time it was used it remain in good condition. I recommend this product to anyone who is needing a expanding file.

mail organization at work
I have one of these on my desk because I get lots and lots of mail everyday. This file folder enables me to file the mail according to alphabet instead of filing everyday and when I get the clients file towork on I just check that letter of the alphabet and pull any mail pertaining to the client whose file I am working on at the time. Great time saver as to filing.
