My Favorite. Period.
The best of the best! This coffee suits my tastes exactly. If, like me, you enjoy a deep, rich, dark roast with bitter-sweet notes, you MUST try this one. Extremely full-bodied without an excessively bitter or acidic taste. Stands up well to added milk (if you take your coffee that way, goes nicely with pastries or dessert, and is good any time of the day.

The taste of tar balls in your mouth
Starts out with a strong overtones of asphalt interlaced with charcoal briquets, and finishes with the BP oil spill across your palette. On a serious note, I have a houseful of coffee lovers who love rich, stronger coffees, but this one was not a hit with anyone.

Great substitute
I am glad that I decided to try this one. I am a dedicated customer of Starbucks French Roast but I am looking for alternatives due to the cost of Starbucks and their political affiliations. This coffee was bold and flavorful and I will definitely buy it again. I would recommend this coffee to anyone who enjoys dark roast.
