Perfect.
This case is really perfect for a lappy of this size. There is a whole section for smaller objects, pencils, etc. The outside zipper pouch is just the right size for my external storage device. There really are more storage options than the description gives it credit for. There is even extra room if you are a student and have a book/folder to tote to class.

Not so good
Carrying handle is offset and makes it difficult to carry by hand. Shoulder strap is ok. Am a disappointed in the design, but do not have much invested. Would recommend purchasing a case from a local store so you can get the touchy-feely before you spend your money.

Nice small PC case
This case seems to be very suitable for the dm1z that I purchased. You have a divider inside to seperate the PC from files , charger, cords, etc. and you also have a small zippered compartment on the flap that can hold smaller items. The back of the case has an open storage pocket the full length of the case which is also nice. Probably the nicest case that I have found...

HP elite book
The laptop fits perfectly in the case, however, the only flaw is the straps. They seem to be faluty in design. In other words, the strap when used over the shoulder sometimes gets tangled because of flaw in design- or so it seems.
Otherwise, perfect!

best case for a DM1Z
I bought this case for my DM1Z Netbook, which is slightly larger than most net books. Although, this case is designed for a larger (12.1”) laptop than DM1Z, this is the HP recommended case to my netbook. I looked around at other cases. A case for a standard size (10.1”) Netbook is too small. My wife has a case for regular size (15.6”) laptop. That case is heavier than m...

A Mediocre Product
Purchased this bag to carry my HP Mini311... found it to be made of incredibly flimsy materials, not to mention poorly designed (there's no space for the power cord and transformer).
The one thing I will say for HP: when I tried to return it for a simple sleeve, the customer service rep told me not to bother returning the bag (I'm assuming the cost of shipping was grea...

Too tight
I bought this for the Touchsmart TX2Z.
Pros:
+ Solid build and decent padding
+ Comfortable and versatile carrying design, easily handled with one hand or should strap
+ A good number of pockets and slots
Cons:
- Too snug, you can fit some magazines in with you're slim computer, but any sort of book over 150 pages is going to star bulging out.
- The power cord will su...

EXCELLENT case for the HP TouchSmart tx2 Notebook!
After we found two NEW HP TouchSmart tx2 notebooks on sale in our CLNC MCX (a tx2-1370us for $799.99 & a tx2-1375dx for $732.99), my Wife and I were looking for a decent carrying case for them. We looked up this HP Mini Messenger Case from HP and found it to be a perfect fit. Not only is the size dead-on (12.1), but the features of this bag make it worthy of being an HP...

Fits Tx2z Perfectly
Fits the Tx2z perfectly, with plenty of room for cables, mouse, headphones, all of the stuff I keep in my laptop bag.
