This is NOT laminate.
THis has a paper cover over the wood, tears very easily with even an pen being moved across the desk.

Telecommuting desk
Bought this to be more comfortable than telecommuting on the dining room table. Overall a nice desk for the price range. It does take a while to assemble but anyone with an ounce of DIY skill will have no problem with this (you will need a helper in some steps due to weight). If using a drill, be careful not to overdrive screws - this is all made out of particle boar...

Great product, great price!!!
This is a very good office desk. Not too difficult to assemble, but needs 2 people to do it. It has given my office a good facelift. The price is good too.

New desk
I bought this desk to add more workspace. It doesn’t disappoint! Neatly fits into any corner and leaves room to spare. Like anything you buy anymore there were a lot of parts to put together but the directions were easy to follow. I also really like the color! Would recommend. Not great quality but very good for the price.

Very dissapointed. This unit is Cheap Press Board that isn't good quality.
I went to the Janesville store to see if I could see one before I ordered it but they didn't have any office furniture accept for chairs.
I had no way of knowing the quality until I received it.
Every single component of this desk needed to be assembled which wasn't what I expected.

Problems with Installation
1. The glass door was very difficult to install with the wood screws finally not holding. Also the is no magnetic or mechanical device to keep the door closed.
2. Instructions for finding a metal slide are confusing. I figured it out because the same thing happened on the lateral file which was also purchase and we had to call your problem phone #
