Filing cabinet was dented on the bottom making it.

Drawers defective
It came undamaged. I was testing the locking mechanism and after unlocking it, only the bottom drawer opens.

Excellent 4-Drawer File Cabinet for Home Office Use
The cabinet was delivered the day after I ordered it. Packaging was good. Some reviewers expressed concern about poor packaging and damaged corners, but I was pleased with mine ... no damage. The construction is solid ... thicker gauge metal than some cheaper file cabinets that I have purchased. The drawers glide easily, even when full. The locking mechanism works fine....

Great file cabinet
Better designed and built than cheaper options, without breaking the bank. The lateral drawer design makes the files easier to access. Simple black color fits anywhere. The lock is a nice option. I also appreciated the feature that only one drawer opens at a time.

Staples HL8000 4-Drawer Commercial Lateral File Cabinet, Black (30-Inch Wide).
The cabinets were dropped off, but never unpacked. When we unpacked them (which were placed side by side against the wall), the one file cabinet was facing the wrong way. I would have thought the delivery person would have wanted to make sure the cabinets were not damaged.

Excellent for the price.
Needed an additional cabinet for our law firm for file overflow. This cabinet looks really nice and it is very well constructed. We looked at others that were much more expensive but decided to go with this one. Will be purchasing a second one as well. It is full of files and working great. Very smooth glide to the drawers. Great purchase for our office.

Really Nice
Default review choices were about landscaping, where did that come from??? Nice filing cabinet, strong, heavy, and sturdy. Wish file divider and file rails were included, had to make a new order and wait for them to arrive before I could use file. Holds a lot. Smooth door openings.
