NOT WIRELESS AT ALL!!!!
Why on gods green earth do you advertise this as a wireless print server. How dare you mislead the general public into buying something that its not capable of doing. I never write reviews when I buy things, but your product and its lack of ability to do what you advertise it to do is the ONLY REASON why I am writing this. Outrageous!!!!

The print server enables network printing by connecting to your LabelWriter label maker through USB and Ethernet cables, allowing multiple users on the same network to print wirelessly from their computers. It is problematic and hard to discover.
It is very problematic. It does not connect well, nor does it stay connected well. It is hard to find and buy and maintain. Great when it works, but it would be better connected to a computer and used as a shared print server that way.

Works with Windows 11
A quick internet search and I was able to find the Control Center download. The software installed fine on my Windows 11 laptop. Following the outdated instruction manual, I was able to get it setup and printing in ~15 minutes.

print server doesnt work with 5 series printers
bought the print server and used this for my 450, this one broke so i bought a 550. Nowhere in the documentation it says the 5 series are not supported. So now i have a 550 and a print server that are not working.
When will this work? Also downloading the print server firmware link is down it seems.

The LabelWriter 550 series is not compatible with printer serves. However, you can make use of the LabelWriter 550 Turbo or 5XL printer as they are compatible with LAN connectivity which can be used on a router. Kindly contact us directly so that we can help resolve the issue for you.

Great product, horrible documentation
The software for this is nowhere to be found.
Found the labelwriter print server control center on a 3rd party site which saved my day.
Please document this properly & update for use with windows 11.

garbage.
I purchase this for my medical office to resolve the LabelWriter 450 printing from multiple computers issue. I end up having to power recycle it every few days for it to work. I try contact DYMO for support, which is useless.

Dymo LabelWriter Print Server works fine
We have been using 2 of these little Dymo LabelWriter Print Server with Dymo Label Printer 450 for years. They work just fine with Windows 10. I recently noticed that there is a difference in the firm version between them. I would like to get them both to the newest possible firmware. Works inconsistently, doesn't support latest model
I'm an IT Administrator professionally and we are tasked with supporting multiple offices with these little boxes. What originally was like a wonder drug has become a headache.

Works great i like
Does its job w busy home office Does whats intended connects multiple people to dymo XL. better than having to buy multiple printers. Small footprint lights indicate connection..

Dymo 4XL w/ Server - Works With 64 Bit
Here's a valuable tip. We first bought the Brother 6 inch format network label printer and learned from Brother that it doesn't work with Office 64 Bit version which is what they sell these days. The Dymo 4XL does. We networked it using this little server. Very simple. Easy to use. Our old Brother was hard to program etc. Dymo wins. No brainer.

Easy to setup and use
This replaced our postage meter and so far we're very happy. It's also great for quickly creating mailing and other labels.
