Legal pads are difficult to find.
So glad Staples had these legal pads. I could not find legal pads at any other store and prefer a legal pad to a spiral notebook. These are high quality and fairly priced.

The paper and the cardboard backing are both very cheap, and the lines don't run across every page as they should. It's a poor product.

I prefer narrow ruled, but usually hard to find. And it was right there on the shelf.

Narrow rule OK; narrow margin not so much...
Have picked one up annually for a league I do secretary work with; used to having wider margins with this product to make side notes -- literally! Otherwise, it's as good as it is, every season!

Inflated price
I have never paid over $8.+ for two legal pads. There was nothing else in the store for me like the good old-fashioned white legal pads you can get in a bundle for the eight dollars. I will search high and low for white legal pads, but I won't buy any from Staples with their inflated pricing.

Not Yellow
I prefer yellow legal pads thar are narrow ruled with a margin on the left-hand side. I got these because Staples no longer carries them, and I cannot find them anywhere else. I will continue to search for an office supply store that meets my need on this item.
