Refill, don't throw away!!!
I just keep using the same pens, they last forever, they only need more ink. A lot cheaper and ‘more environment friendly.’

Excellent Compatible Refill for AVANT Pro Pen
I bought an AVANT Pro pen at Staples about 4 years ago. I really like the feel of the pen and liked the gel ink cartridge. Unfortunately, AVANT pens and AVANT refills for the pen are no being made or available. Great refills
I love the Uniball Signo Impact 207 pen. It writes so smoothly. Having the refills is a plus to be able to put one in when it runs out of ink. Very convenient and less expensive than having to order the pens each time. I will continue to use this pen, as well as, the refills.

Great refills, expensive!
These are great refills but very expensive and cost nearly as much as the pen itself. Generally not in stock in the store, so have to order them.

My refillls
Went into our local store to get a packaged of refills. There wasn't any In stock for my particular pen, but the salesman helped me order two pkgs. while in the store and said they would be delivered in two days to my house. Two days came, I went to the mail box and there they were. Great customer even when an item isn't in the store. Good going!
