Thicker Than Others
This tape while costs a little more, but is better quality, than many generics. When taping items, such as receipts, envelopes, etc, tape does not crinkle up on the item it is placed on nor does it fold together when pulled out.

Best all purpose tape
Scotch Magic Tape is the best for most purposes. I used it for wrapping hundreds of Christmas gifts for poor children. Cheaper tapes would not easily be cut by the tape dispenser when using one hand, as is needed for fast wrapping. Magic tape is also easier to stick, doesn’t curl up as much, holds better and can be written on.
