Expensive but Super Study
We are using this in our public restroom at work so I needed something that could take a lickin and keep on tickin.......so far after a month it looks no worse for the wear.

Sturdy with a compact style
We got this trash can to use at the coffee bar in our small office annex. It is large enough to hold several days worth of coffee bar garbage without taking up a bunch of space. The plastic is sturdy, and it strikes the perfect balance of being heavy-duty enough to not get knocked over easily, but light enough to dump out easily when it is full.

SimpleHuman Trash Can
Like other reviewers mention, they're a bit pricey - but do look great. We purchased two for our office and will likely get a few more depending on how they hold up. If anything, what my money is on breaking are the 'hooks' on the can that the lid snaps onto. Since everything is plastic, I am betting those will wear first. There was a card in the box regarding a warrant...

Simple Human Swing Lid Trash Can, Black
These trash cans were better than I thought they would be for the price. When they arrived I was surprised that they were attractive. The first two (2) I ordered received a lot of compliments. Not only does the black match the appliances in our break area they actually make the break area look better. We ordered three (3) more for other areas of our suite.

Sturdy Trash Can
This works great it our break room (10 employees). The lid is weighted but swings open easily. Would work great in a home kitchen also.

Great bin
I love this bin!, Wide opening, makes it super easy to use. No auxiliary pieces that can break. I use this in my kitchen. I have been using the Glad 13 gallon Forceflex bags with this can and I have not had any problems with it.
